These wood bowls and platters are some of my favorite pieces for entertaining. Many of them are sourced from the roots of fir trees that would just remain in the ground, this helps clear the land so that new trees have room to grow. They are finished with a food-safe lacquer. Since they’re also eco-friendly, who wouldn’t love them. You can find them at Vivaterra and Neiman Marcus.
We love natural chic things, and you can’t get more natural than wood. We have about 5 different wood serving items, and use them for everything from serving appetizers to holding napkins. Here’s a shot of one of our spreads. We added a wood salad bowl to bring the natural wood theme into the place setting.
