Hi Hanne!! Thank you so much for teaching me a little bit of your culture. I’ll edit the post with the right info now 😉
Here in the US, pancakes are very common breakfast food, so I thought aebleskiver could be a great alternative for our regular pancake recipes. Now it’s time for me to buy some Glögg and try eating them the proper way! 🙂 Have a great weekend!! Mange tak.

(At least not in Denmark 😉 ). Aebleskiver is eaten mainly up to and around Christmas and instead of cake for an afternoon or evening coffee or at gatherings and are here often served together with Glögg (a sweetened and spiced warm red wine drink).
But as a Dane I’m just happy you like one of our special foods and as long as you are happy with it, I’m not to tell you how to eat it. For the record I can add that we don’t usually eat pancakes for breakfast either…
