Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream

It’s almost that time of the year to bring the ice cream maker out of storage and get to work in the kitchen. This year I promised myself to not buy any store-bought ice cream this summer and make our own with delicious,  various flavors and even try some audacious recipes like dairy-free  and raw ice cream. So here is a basic and easy vanilla ice cream recipe tested a few weeks ago at our kitcken when I was desiring one of my favorites drinks, Baileys & Kahlua Mudslide. And make sure you to always use a good vanilla extract  ( my favorite is Nielsen-Massey vanilla extract ) or vanilla beans.
