• Mason Jars Love

    Recently I bought a box of Mason Jars, and besides using for homemade tomato sauce, I love the creative uses I’ve seen them put to.  We love that they’re so multi-functional and cheap, and with a little ingenuity they can become a chic centerpiece.  You can save them up from empty jars you use at home, pick them up for pennies at a thrift store, or buy a dozen of them at a mega-store for just a few bucks.   • Something Blue

    Today being a blue day for soccer fans in my homeland, I decided to surround myself with everything that I love. And re-reading my most-missed magazine, Domino, is on the top of my list and followed by getting some house project done around our condo. These beautiful blue rooms made me dream of having some extra walls here to paint.  Maybe a guest room or nursery someday?  In any case, I hope your blues are on your walls, and not your heart.

  • Decorating with Books

    It’s no secret that I love books.  I have an overflowing collection for which I do not have shelf space for. My books become part of the decoration of my home:  stacked on the console table topped with a candle and a vase, next to my sofa , stack on the coffee table, and yet two neatly stacks near the TV.  Books make for great accessories to decorating any home.  Whether used as props in styling or truly used in the decoration of a home, books undoubtedly have a decorating presence.
