    We went apple picking last week and brought back a small bag of apples. Then a few days later we hosted lunch for some friends, and our friend Michelle left an even bigger bag of apples she’d picked for us. What to do with all those apples? It is a powerful healer due to its anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties.  Dr. Andrew Weil, one of my favorite authors on integrative medicine, wrote a great article about it here.
