Travel: New Delhi, India part.2
Posted by Scott As is tradition with all of my travels, I have a “list.” The categories change for each location, but the memories will not fade away. Here is the list for New Delhi, India. Scariest moment of the trip: Always wondering if I’ll get Delhi Belly after eating something. Luckily, I came out fine. Best meal of the trip: Eating North Indian food in Delhi. The bread, rice and food in general were tasty and not too spicy. Something I learned about myself: I can walk and tour in the 115 degree weather. Manners Matter: Table Settings
A quick tip for your next dinner or lunch party. Etiquette isn’t something we’re born with. We learn it at home, sometimes at a very good school, or from great books. In my opinion, every mom should give one of these to their daughters, and girls if your mother never you gave you one, you should go out and get a copy yourself. I got my first one from my parents when I was 13, and I treasure it until this day.

Fish and Chips ( shh…sweet potato fries)
Last week during the 2012 Olympics in London I was inspired to make a classic British recipe to watch the games with. Fish and chips is always on my list of things to eat when I’m visiting London, so I put a fun twist on this English classic. I went to my local fishmonger and got some mahi mahi fillets, my husband reluctantly provided one of his bottles of Guinness, we kicked the deep fryer into gear, and a few minutes later, we had a delicious meal.
